Here are some photos taken on this past saturday’s work day. Three hundred large metal cans (donated by Ukrops) were cleaned, tops/bottoms removed, flattened and are getting nailed to the shed for the siding material. Kris Moran, garden volunteer and Virginia Tech Turf Program graduate, took soil samples of Humphrey Calder site where the garden will be built and sent them to the VT soil testing lab. Here are the results:
